200+ Have Already Made the Switch

What's included?

10 solid teak cooking utensils: a wok spatula, flat spatula, slotted turner, ladle, skimmer, pasta server, stirring spoon, serving spoon, salad spoon and salad fork.

Every set also comes with our digital recipe ebook, Quick & Healthy Recipes for Tired Nights: 20 family meals, each ready in 30 minutes or less.

Product details

Each utensil is handcrafted from solid teak, a dense, tight-grained hardwood, and finished with a plant-based, food-safe finish. There are no plastic parts and no synthetic heads or tips. Every piece is solid teak from tip to handle. They're heat tolerant, gentle on non-stick, ceramic, cast iron and stainless steel pans, and range from 243 mm to 340 mm long.

Where is it sourced?

Teak is native to Southeast Asia, where the climate lets it grow best. Ours currently comes from sustainable plantations in Indonesia. While teak can grow in far North Queensland, it isn't farmed here at a scale that allows a consistent, sustainable supply. Thallō is Australian owned and operated, and we design every product here, working closely with our partners on quality, longevity and fair pay at every stage.

Care instructions

Hand wash in warm water with mild soap, then pat dry or stand upright to air dry. Avoid soaking and keep them out of the dishwasher. When the wood starts to look pale or dry, rub in a little food-safe oil to keep it looking its best.

Questions

Will they scratch non-stick pans?
No. Teak is smooth and much softer than metal, so it's safe on non-stick, ceramic, cast iron and stainless steel.
Can they go in the dishwasher?
Hand wash only. A quick rinse in warm soapy water, dry upright, and oil them when they look pale.
What are they finished with?
A plant-based, food-safe finish. No plastic parts, synthetic heads or glued joins.
Why teak over bamboo or acacia?
Teak is denser and tighter-grained, so it handles water and daily wear better. Bamboo utensils are often strips glued together. Ours are solid teak.
What if a piece cracks?
We replace it. Email support@thallolife.com with your order number and a photo.
How fast is shipping?
4–7 business days across Australia & New Zealand. We ship worldwide too.
